Image Capture Speeds

The speed for taking each shot will vary according to the resolution of the image. "Rapidfire" or the continuous shooting of images is referred to as the "burst rate". Burst rates may be expressed as:

  • 3 images in 1 second intervals at 1792 x 1200 or 12 image in 0.5 second intervals at 896 x 600
  • Up to 21 consecutive shots at 4.5 frames per second (fps)
  • Some cameras offer burst modes allowing for multiple photos to be shot in rapid succession.
