Unit sets can be almost any size you need the form to be. Size limitation would be based on the equipment of the manufacturer. There are standard stub widths for unit sets but since each is a separate form and does not have to run through a special printer, they can be trimmed to non-standard widths.

Standard Stub Widths:

  • 3 2/5"
  • 3 1/2"
  • 3 2/3"
  • 4"
  • 4 1/4"
  • 5 1/2"
  • 5 2/3"
  • 6"
  • 7"
  • 7 1/3"
  • 8"
  • 8 1/2"
  • 11"
  • 12"
  • 14"
  • 17"
  • 22"
  • 24"

Standard Lengths:

You can design your form to be almost any length in order to make it functional. Manufacturers may have some limitations when lengths exceed 13 1/2" due to equipment capabilities. Listed below are some common lengths used on forms. The common lengths shown below make good use of standard stock paper roll sizes that are readily available to manufacturers.
  • 6 1/4"
  • 7 5/8"
  • 9 1/8"
  • 11 5/8"
  • 14 5/8"

Note: Any standard stub width can be trimmed to a non-standard size. Odd width trim adds to the cost of the form because it is another step in the manufacturing process.

The illustrations below show just some of the common sizes that are used. There are many size options available to you when working with unit sets.

Note: The stub on unit sets can be at the top, bottom, left side or right side.
