Hyperlinks

As you are building your Web, you will want to add ways to go from one page to another and to other Web sites. This is accomplished with the use of hyperlinks. You can insert hyperlinks on any type of text or graphic object. Some examples would be to link words within a text block to another page, words or phrases listed across the top or bottom of a page, tabs that can be clicked on, navigation bars, buttons, pictures, and so on.

To insert hyperlinks, click on the icon on the Standard toolbar or select Insert on the top menu bar and the select Hyperlink at the bottom of the drop down menu. Either one of these will bring up the Create Hyperlink window. In this window you can select a file in your site to link to, or enter a Web address (URL) to link to a completely different site. You can also add links, called Bookmarks, which allow you to link to specific points on the same page or a completely different page.
